Our Story

What began as individual healing journeys has grown into a shared purpose:
To make holistic wellness accessible and empower others to take their health into their own hands.

True Wellbeing is Collective

Ren Wellness was born from a simple realisation, that health is shaped by so much more than any single approach.

Through our own health journeys and lived experiences, as well as the transition into becoming parents, we became increasingly aware of the importance of the environments we create for ourselves and our families, and how deeply these everyday choices can influence wellbeing.

This included gradual shifts toward real food, simpler living, and a deeper connection to the body, nature, and the rhythms of daily life. It also highlighted something we came to value even more deeply: the importance of community, and the idea that wellbeing is supported through connection, care, and a shared sense of responsibility.

What started as personal exploration slowly grew into something shared, a desire to make these kinds of resources, conversations, and spaces more accessible to others.

Ren was created as a way to support that. A space for connection, education, and gentle, sustainable change, meeting people where they are, without overwhelm.

At its heart, this work is about reconnection. To ourselves, to one other, and to the environments we are part of. Because when we feel more connected, we naturally begin to care for our health, our communities, and the world around us in more conscious ways.

Today, Ren continues to evolve as a community-led initiative, shaped by the people, practitioners, and producers we are fortunate to connect with along the way.

Our Name is Our Promise

Reconnection. Growth. Collective Healing.

“Ren” represents compassion in action.

“Ren” (仁) is a foundational virtue in Confucian philosophy — the call to benevolence, humanity, compassion, and love for others. It reminds us that true well-being is not individual, but collective. Through empathy and responsibility, it is the practice of caring for one another and building harmonious community, where everyone can flourish.

In Japanese, “Ren” (蓮) means lotus — the flower that rises from the mud to bloom in purity and light. A symbol of spiritual growth, resilience, and awakening.

Together, these meanings guide our mission.

By reconnecting to ourselves, to one another, and to the Earth, we heal, together.

Thank you for being here.

With love,

Tash, Lisa, Josh, Jayson, George, and Bobbie.
